waiting for signs...
waiting for signs
I used to wait for a sign, she said, before I did anything. Then one night I had a dream & an angel in black tights came to me & said, you can start any time now, & then I asked is this a sign? & the angel started laughing & I woke up. Now, I think the whole world is filled with signs, but if there’s no laughter, I know they’re not for me.

welcome to Heronswood...
sign at old Heronswood in Dromana...
In 1871, Heronswood house was constructed as a retreat for William Edward Hearn (1826-1888), a politician and academic who was one of the earliest lecturers at the University of Melbourne.
The main house was built using bluestone with limestone dressings.
It was designed in Gothic Revival style, probably by Edward La Trobe Bateman.
Heronswood is also notable for its gardens and plants for sale.
